Eternity is now.
Let go of the things of yesterday. Let go of the things of tomorrow. Eternity is never anything but the sum of all the ‘now moments.’ Don’t miss the now by worrying about things past; let them guide your now. Don’t miss the now by worrying about things future; let your now guide your future.
Eternal life means to know and experience you as the only true God, and to know and experience Jesus Christ (John 17:3). We can know and experience the Father and Jesus now. So eternal life is now. What are the things that might be keeping us from that experience and knowledge; worry about the future, regret of the past, shame, anxiety, self-indulgence, lust, etc. They’re keeping us from experiencing eternity.
To live in the now, we must accept and love our ‘now self.’ It’s and endless, exhausting process: trying to perfect oneself. Admit and accept where we may have fallen short and let it go. Just show up; all of you! The ‘now’ needs you to show up for it to be full and complete. Let’s not rob the people around us of a full and complete now by being absent.
Today, right now, I choose to be present. Will you join me?
Eternity is now.
This is one of the many things I’ve been learning to a greater extent at G42; the leadership academy I’m attending (click the link if you’d like to learn more). I hope you were able to share with me in this revelation that was birthed from class last semester. If you enjoyed it, I ask that you consider partnering with me however Spirit leads-prayer, sharing encouragement of what He’s doing, financial support (link to my fundraising page), sharing this message with others, etc. Thanks for following and supporting my journey! Have a fantastic day!
