I am who I am. Nothing else.

Jesus used identity statements to remind him and those around him who he was. There are seven of them recorded in the gospel according to John. Jesus knew who he was because he reminded himself.

The enemy will try to get us to doubt who the Father says we are. After getting baptized, the Father said to Jesus, “You are my son and with you I am very pleased!” Directly after that Jesus was tempted by the devil with these words; “IF you really are the Son of God…”

You’re identity is coming under attack. Know who you are! Tell yourself and those around you (including the enemy) who you are. And as you wave the flag of your identity in front of Hell’s gates, they tremble!

I am a child of God and He is well pleased with me!

This is one of the many things I’ve been learning to a greater extent at G42; the leadership academy I’m attending (click the link if you’d like to learn more). I hope you were able to share with me in this revelation that was birthed from class last semester. If you enjoyed it, I ask that you consider partnering with me however Spirit leads-prayer, sharing encouragement of what He’s doing, financial support (link to my fundraising page), sharing this message with others, etc. Thanks for following and supporting my journey! Have a fantastic day!
