A Moment of Ministry With RC: Cambodia Edition

Y’all!! The last two days have been absolutely amazing being able to teach elementary school students English. Fun fact about ya boy; before I left college I was majoring in elementary education for 5 years and founded a mentoring program for over 40 inner city boys in Orangeburg, SC. So there is a piece of me that still lies in the classroom and making education so fun for  children that they forget they are even learning.

So get this!! The first day we got to the school, we were lead to our classrooms by a staff member and were literally told, “okay, teach children!” *in their broken English grammar* As we entered the classroom, the teacher exited. We all just looked at one another and laughed. Two of us got straight into brainstorming while the other two entertained the kids by dancing and songs. There is nothing more delightful then getting thrown out of your comfort zone; this is the story of the whole World Race journey thus far.

Anywho, I hope you enjoy the short clip!! My Father told me, “Son, I’ve called you to be the salt and light to this world.” So I decided to add a lil flava in Cambodia. These kids stole my heart. It was my first time on this journey that I even thought about coming back in the future to serve long term. (link below)

WE LIVE BABBBYYY!!

Love y’all

God’s truly,

Chocolate Man

Oh…and I’m not actually staying in Cambodia to teach. I got 6 more months to handle our Father’s business!!! Some ya’ll were probably like, “uhhh okay, but that money I donated ain’t staying with you!!”
