Today was silly & weird & everything good. My friends & I planned one last hang out all together before we all part ways again starting next week. Nothing ever quite goes as planned when we all get together- people are ALWAYS late, work runs longer than expected, food isn’t ready, you know what I mean. & a lot of times when unexpected things like that happen I admit I tend to get a lil anxious- but today was different. It was slow & easy & no one was in a hurry & we all just got to enjoy each others presence. Sometimes when I’m in larger groups my favorite thing is to just sit back & watch the interactions between everyone…fellowship is truthfully a beautiful thing. I know I’ve been writing a lot about transitioning between seasons lately, but for me it’s important to remember moments like these forever. So here’s to a hot/humid/rainy evening in River Falls, WI… eating turkey burgers in Maria’s new house, playing just dance, and soaking up each others presence. I don’t know about you, but that’s enough for me.
