Thank you to all who have donated and supported me thus far! You all have made it possible for me to be fully funded for my on-field time. For those who are still interested in donating, any donations made from now through reaching $6,500 will help me visit W Squad during their final debrief in June!
with that being said, it’s a new season for myself. November is here, and we have made it to chilly Kyrgyzstan. This month is manistry, so myself and my co-leader Kierstin with be spending time with the women of W Squad, and Tom will be spending the month with the men.
The squads time in Kazakhstan consisted of YoungLife clubs, English classes, Bible studies, and lots of taxi rides sharing the Gospel with our drivers. To say this squad is on fire for spreading the truth of Jesus would be an understatement.
This week I am spending time with the women of ChosIn. Which is a beautiful, sweet, warm gift from God Himself seeing as they are the blending of the women from the two co-ed teams on our squad. A year ago I was in their space, and I’m beyond appreciative of the blessing of a the role of witnessing this unity form from a different perspective. The little house with the red swing is almost always flowing with worship music, laughter, and food.. and I’ve only been here for about 48 hours. The Holy Spirit permeates these walls and the late night conversations about personality types and convictions fill both my brain and my heart.
I have two months left on the field with this squad and the Lord is teaching me how to soak up every second of it. While yes, I do have plans for 2020, right now I’m rooting myself in where He wants me. Because witnessing and teaching freedom from sin is something I never anticipated and never want to take for granted in my life.
thanks for getting this far with me.
I love you all!

November. A poem by me!
a new season of spring to come soon.
but for now the winter I am in is like a white wonderland.
it is one of Chrystal white snow. As pure as my heart.
it is one of a relationship by the fire with you, Yahweh.
it’s not an Underground seed type of winter, but a walk along the streets at night, bundled in His warmth, enjoying the silence type of winter.
and there’s nothing to “get through” or rush.
Just a space for stillness in the abiding.
