Team changes are upon us. In just a few short days, I will be on a new World Race team. I have been with my current team since Training Camp. We’ve had 7 whole months to get to know each other.
As we get ready for these changes, I wanted to share a little bit about the people that I’ve spent the last five months living with and becoming a family with.
Life is full of seasons. Elementary school turns into middle school, middle school turns into high school, high school into college, college into the working world, and for me, the working world into the World Race. Within each season is smaller seasons of life.
Let’s go through my friends in the picture above!
Olivia: She is full of joy, passion and love. She is a singer/songwriter (with quite a bit of music on Spotify, so go check her out), with a beautiful voice that brings glory to God. She cares deeply about her friends and loves to have fun.
Madison: She is kind, caring and attentive to detail. She has a deep love for her family and that spills over into our team. She is a great listener and responds with wisdom. She has been our treasurer for the last five months and she has been killing it.
Michaela: She is caring, loving and a deep thinker. She puts others above herself and asks the best questions to help with growth. She loves the outdoors and loves hiking. Hearing someone’s life story is one of her favorite parts of life.
Hattie: My tent partner from training camp brings creativity and passion to our team. She loves well and listens well. She loves to try new things and loves to have fun.
Caitlynn: She is calm, sweet, silly, wise and wild, all at the same time. She brings godly wisdom into my life, and also makes me laugh. She was my roommate for a good part of the Race so far.
Leticia: She is one of our wonderful squad leaders, not with us all the time, but she is full of wisdom and guidance in how to do the Race well.
Annie: She is our valiant team leader, madam president and friend. It has been a joy to live with her and be led by her. She is calm, yet wild. She is wise and full of adventure.
