I am literally in awe of the last week of my life. I can’t believe that I get to live this life for the next 11 months.
I spent 82 hours traveling from Atlanta, Georgia to Mahapleu, Cote d’Ivoire. Some travel was by plane and some was by a greyhound style bus and then some was by local transportation in a smaller bus!
The Lord has truly blown be away in every part of this week!
I have been a part of two church services and dancing has been such a cool part of church! We dance all the time and the Lord is teaching me boldness in that because it isn’t something I am used to!
I have ridden on a moto twice, once while bleeding and once in the dark, both crazy experiences, but both great! It is such a great way to experience what is going on in the culture around us!
So about bleeding on the moto: I was walking, and wiped out and scraped up the my leg. Everything is okay! It is healing well! I spent that evening at home and the Lord taught me much about myself and Himself that night!
We walk between 3 and 7 miles each day!
I preached in church last night about 2 Timothy 1:7-9 and it was great!
We have two translators, one for English to French and one from French to the local language and they are both great!
Cote d’Ivoire is beautiful and I am in love.
My team is great and they are challenging me in ways that I didn’t know I needed to grow.
Pray for us in our continued ministry:
– that the followers of Christ here may be strengthened
– for the non-believers that are here, that they may come to know the Lord
– for our continued health, safety, and unity
