I have decided to go on this journey with the world race in hopes that gap year will not only bring me closer to the Lord but will help me figure out what I am supposed to be doing with my life and where I should go when I return from the race. I am 19 years old, I love to hangout with my friends, swim, go to the beach and I went to school at southern Mississippi this past year but realized that it was not the right fit for me and that isn’t where I belonged. After coming home and going through my options for next year school wise or jobs I came across adventures in missions and quickly realized that this was something I was excited about and thought that I should be doing after some research, prayer and interviews so that I could be accepted into the program I jumped in full force. I am so grateful for this opportunity and excited to see what God has in store for me and my team and the experiences that will happen throughout this and the blessings that we will see and also receive.
