Fun Facts: ~Colombia is the only South American country to have coastlines on the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
~Colombia is home to over 1800 species of birds.
~The law requires the Colombia National Anthem to play on TV and the radio every day at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
~Shakira and her famous truthful hips are from Colombia.
~Piranhas, ants, and guinea pigs are common delicacies in many parts of the country.
Colombia is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, boasting of over 300 different ecosystems! This country has beautiful coastlines, the Amazon Rainforest, and plenty of other awesome places to experience nature. A large portion of the Colombian people still live in tribes that have been unreached. Many of these people struggle with disease and malnutrition, our teams plan to go and live among these people and learn about their cultures and learn the best way to reach out to these people and show them some love.
