Hello everyone! I am currently in Nepal, and I am going to catch you up to where I am. I have a few blogs for Peru and India left. Enjoy what the Lord has done and is continuing to do. Also, If you feel led to continue supporting me, I could use your help with personal expenses. You can donate here to my PayPal. Thank you, everyone, for your support, love, and encouragement on this journey!
KIDS OF CANTA
Two weeks here in Peru we will be working with the sister Church here in Canta. We will be helping Pastor Jorge and his wife Sinead help grow their church. We will be going to the marketplace to evangelize to the workers and people there. In the afternoon we will go to the park to hang and play games/soccer with the kids in the neighborhood. Our goal is to help establish more relationships for the sister church and get them plugged in with Pastor Jorge.
This work at this church started five years ago with 2 Sunday school teachers. The church had been praying for God to send a pastor. At the time, Jorge and Sinead were traveling from Venezuela to Peru. They felt a calling from the Lord to leave their home in Venezuela. The Lord led them to the church that had been praying for a pastor at Iglesia Macedonia’s sister church in Canta. We are helping with their church plant. We helped them establish relationships in the markets when we went to evangelize. We also helped them in the evenings in the park. We played soccer, played games, sung songs, shared testimonies, and had so much fun praising Jesus! In the end, we helped clean the neighborhood of all its trash. Here in Peru, it’s not common for people to do work without needing pay. When we went to clean the local school and the neighborhood, the principal saw so much good that it allowed Pastor Jorge an open the door to now go into the school!
CLEAN UP
PRAYERS
Paster Jorge and his wife Sinead are some of the most humble, loving, and giving people you will ever meet in your life. They were always full of joy and gratitude for the Lord. Never a day went by where I didn’t see Christ lived out from them. They are amazing spiritual parents! Believe it or not, they have opened up their living room for the church. They are praying that will the Lord’s help, they would get equipment, that the Church of Canta would grow, that souls would keep coming to the Lord and that they would be blessed with a building for the church.
“And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.”
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
