As you know, I’m currently in my 8th month on the race; which means I’m in my 8th country: Armenia and this month is a little bit different than the other months, ministry is called ATL (Ask The Lord)!

So this morning as I was preparing to get up and go into ministry, I was asking the Lord what he had for me to do today! He responded by saying he wanted me to prayer walk.

I immediately started to think about what that could look like and where to go. The Lord has put on my heart to walk this loop around the city, but it never felt like the right time until now. I started looking at this loop and thinking it’s pretty long, I don’t know if I have enough time to do the whole thing, I’ll do half today and save the rest for another day.

So as I was preparing to go, I spent more time with the Lord and he asked me to focus on the other 7 ministries & countries that I have been fortunate enough to work with and partner with for a time. He highlighted people from each country that have impacted me or I have impacted in a way!

Then he prompted me to go down memory lane if you will; and think about all the people who have impacted me when I was growing up until now! He asked me to think back to every where I have lived and then he pointed out people who have poured into me!

It started somewhere, sometime, somehow, it started with a simple hello or maybe even a smile; which then progress into something more. A small action at the start turned into something much bigger.

That’s all I ask of you, a small action of obedience. One step, one smile, one hello that’s just the start!

There are people here in Armenia; who need these small shows of affection!

Will you see these people whom I love and will you pray for, smile at, say hello to the ones I point out?

I’ll be the one to guide your steps and point out people, seek me in this task, and I’ll open the door.

Go with confidence that I have gone before you!

                                                               -GOD

So I laced up my shoes and started my loop for my prayer walk. This walk for me was all about the people, so every person I saw walking toward me or around me, I said a prayer for! Some were quick one sentence prayers, while others where longer prayers that got to the heart of the matter. I prayed for old men, fashionable young women, families, young teenage boys,…really anyone that I saw, I prayed for!

As I was turning the corner to move to the next block, there was a older lady sitting on a ledge by the sidewalk with her hand out! I was praying for her as I was turning the corner, and felt lead to stop, grab some money out of my wallet and hand it to the older lady! I turned back around went straight to the lady and put the coins in her hand. She grabbed my hand, looked me in the eye and proceeded to say a bunch of words I didn’t understand… I just stood there why she squeezed my hand and even gave me a kiss! I asked in English what her name was and she didn’t know what I was saying… then she proceeded to say something to me in Armenian (or Russian, I can’t tell the difference?!?), needless to say I didn’t understand. So I motioned with my hands, asking if I could pray for her? She gave me a nod (I think), so I proceeded to pray for her, then was interrupted by her as she pointed out to a nearby lady (who was sweeping outside a store) that I was with here and she was thankful for me, (well that’s how I took it?!?).  So after a few moments , I wished her a good day and walked off continuing my prayer for the sweet lady!

Did it go how I thought it would go?

No, but that’s ok, that’s how people are, and I will never know the impact the Lord made on that lady! I can only pray for her and he can do the rest!

At the end of the day, the Lord asked me to be obedient and pray for the people!

So I go and Pray for the People!
