Four infants, three beds and one nurse. All four were malnourished.

We walked to the hospital to do our weekly rounds of praying and preaching Jesus to the sick and I was told I was praying for the children’s ward. I immediately knew my heart would break.

I walked into the room and the mothers of the children were sitting on the beds while their children slept. Fluids were being pumped into them and some type of medicine was on their head. I held back my tears as I greeted the sad mother’s.

They were strong, brave and scared.

One of the little girls woke up and I snapped this photo of her with my friend Ashley.

We prayed for the woman and heard their stories. I felt helpless and all we could give was prayer, but that was all they really needed. I believe in healing. I believe those children are all healed and out of the hospital as I write this.

As we walked out we visited a woman we met last week named Maria.

If you look down at her feet she has a terrible infection that is growing up to her knee.

I asked Maria last week if she knew Jesus, and she said, “I don’t, but I think he is punishing me so I think I would like to know Him.”

I listened to her story, then politely told her she was very mistaken. God NEVER intends for his children to be sick.

“The thief comes ONLY to kill, steal and destroy; [Jesus] has come that they may have life, and life abundantly.” -John 10:10

Satan is after us but God is for us. And God is stronger!

God’s intention to heal is shown over and over again through the life of Jesus. Every time Jesus interacts with someone who is sick, he heals them.

In Matthew 8 a man with leprosy approaches Jesus and says if you are willing, will you make me clean? Jesus immediately responds, “I am willing… be clean!”

God intends healing every time for his children.

I fully believe Maria will walk out of that hospital room healed by God. But the greater story here is that her heart was healed. She gave her life to Jesus in that very bed with an understanding of how much Jesus loves her and how clean the blood of Jesus makes her.

Also, just a quick update on another note. We have seen 40+ salvations while we have been here in Lesotho! Praise God for 40 new brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of God!

Please keep praying! You are just as much involved in what is going on here as I am. Thank you all for supporting me and praying for the work that is being done here.
