I prayed for miracles in Malaysia a few months ago.
House of Miracles Church is where our host told me I would be serving on a team to help with a Christmas Drama.
We showed up the first night ready to meet the youth and help with the production. Then the pastor said, “I am so excited to see you all perform.” We kind gave an awkward chuckle and expressed our excitement to be apart. As the meeting went on he explained what he wanted in the show. Then with slight hesitation in her voice, Marissa asked, “so… where are all the actors and actresses?”
The Pastor laughed and genuinely thought we were joking. He said, “YOU ARE THE ACTRESSES!”
So for the past few weeks, 6 woman on my team have been working on a full
Christmas production to put on for this Chinese Church.
I was casted as the mother Mary 🙂
Last night was the big night. The crowd loved it and we got to talk to tons of the church members after.

God doesn’t always answer our prayers in ways we think he will.
Sometimes it’s immediate. We pray for patience and something happens 10 minutes later that sets us off and we really have to choose patience.
Sometimes it‘s late. I prayed for a year asking God to open a door to what he wanted my future to be. Deep down I knew it was missions, but because I didn’t accept that, I applied to job after job wondering why God was taking so long to open a door. When I finally gave up and applied to the World Race, the door was open and i was committed in less than 2 weeks!
Sometimes it’s hidden. I could walk about from this month and question why I never saw a miracle. Or I could laugh along with God and believe hat he answered my prayer the way that was best for me. Maybe I needed to be humbled, dress up like Mary, and put on a performance in front of a crowd that barely knew English.
Don’t be discouraged if God isn’t answering your prayer yet. It’s all about perspective. He is going to answer, or he already has and you just don’t realize what good he has done yet.
Be thankful for everything He gives.
