Hi guys!! I have not posted in awhile and will try to get better about posting more often! When I’m on the race it will be required to blog often so I better start getting into the habit now! Although I was accepted in June, and have since switched routes it has been two months since I announced my World Race commitment. So much has happened since then and life has been so busy. I think in this busy season of life it is important to remember to take time for yourself and time to reflect. Next year at this time I will not be last minute cramming for tests, like I am now, but instead will be doing ministry in Kyrgyzstan. That is SO crazy!! Life is going to be SO different at this time next year so I am taking in all of this busy season.
So far fundraising has been going well! I have been overwhelmed with all of the support I have received this far. I have had conversations with so many people wishing me the best and telling me that I am in their prayers. I can not tell you how much that means to me. The financial support I have received has also be so amazing. I seriously cannot thank you enough. I have almost met my first goal of $5,000 which is due by May 17! That means I am moving right along and can’t wait to make this all happen by His grace.
Right now I am still selling t-shirts! A friend that I met in Cape Town, South Africa, who also just recently got accepted to the World Race (s/o to Kalee!!), and I designed a shirt to help fundraise for our trips. I will be selling these until the end of November so if you are interested please let me know!! I am selling them for $25 and will ship anywhere for an extra $5!!
