Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
Fundraising is hard; meeting deadlines, straight up asking for money and then facing rejection, and just plain being patient sucks. I’ve always been very independent, self-reliant (for the most part), and stubborn in doing things myself and in my own way, so of course I set out to do fundraising in the same fashion.
Thank God I’m not actually in control.
I’ve been so humbled through this process and my heart overflows from the outpouring of generosity I’ve received from each of you. I can’t adequately express how grateful I am for the opportunity God has presented me with and for you, who’ve helped make this trip possible.
Please please please continue to keep me and my squadmates in your prayers, that our toils may be fruitful!
