Dear Family and Friends,
For the past few months I have been in California working as a missionary. I have loved this experience. I have been working with kids and the community of Tahoe City. I loved giving back and teaching the kids about God and his glory. Mission work has always been close to my heart. When I was younger I attended many mission dinners. During these dinners, missionaries would come and tell their stories. I always wanted to be just like them and to have the experience to go tell the people about God. I knew I wanted to do more when I left California but I wasn’t sure what to do. I had heard about an amazing mission trip called the The World Race. I really didn’t put much thought into it, but then I felt like I started getting signs that I should apply. I did and I was accepted, I still was questioning God and I wasn’t sure if this is where I was suppose go. The more I prayed the more I realized I am supposed to be apart of The World Race.
The World Race is an 11 month Christian trip to 11 countries around the world. The World Race is an unique opportunity. During these 11 months I will be leaving everything behind and focusing on spearing the word of Jesus. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
I will face many challenges all throughout the World Race, but as I prepare for my departure, one of my greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other mission organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. In order to leave fully funded in January of 2019, I need to raise $18,200. This money will cover all of my field expenses for the 11 months of the trip, excluding the equipment for the trip. As I take this large step of faith in trusting the Lord, would you prayerfully consider joining me at $100 monthly or some other amount? If God is leading you to help out financially there are a couple ways you can give:
