A year ago I applied for the race and got accepted. The first questions that I was asked were, “How are you going to raise that much money?” I didn’t have an answer other than God. Were there times I doubted? Absolutely. I literally laughed out loud when I looked at the screen and saw the number $18,700, thinking where in the world will this come from? But where God’s promises stands, so does his faithfulness. He continued to move that mountain in front of me time and time again because he said he would!! Thank you will never be enough to Every. Single. Person. who donated, who sacrificed, who contributed their tithe, who were obedient to what the Lord was asking them to do, and who supported and believed in me and in this mission trip. I am taking every single one of you with me wherever I go. I have said this to many people, if you really want your faith and trust to increase then fundraise for something. I am so humbled and I am so blessed I will never forget this testimony of how he provided for me!
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
