This is Shelby! She’s from Oklahoma. She HAS to see a picture of food before she orders it and if she can’t she will be getting chicken nuggets. Saying she loves to sing and dance would be an understatement. If possible, she’d be surrounded by kids all day, every day, especially those beautiful African children.
When I found out I was on a team with Shelby I was SO excited! She was one of my first friends way back at training camp and month one. I craved to be around her so I was ecstatic, to say the least. Her relatability makes it easy to be vulnerable, a core quality she exhibits.
Shelby has the biggest heart, it breaks for everyone she sees. Its so easy for me to drift towards Shelby because she reminds me a lot of my sister – I understand her and vice versa. This gal walks in discernment (like no one I’ve ever met WOW), kindness and exhortation. She glows from her inner beauty because she knows who she is and Who’s she is, the growth I’ve gotten to witness with this can only be from the lord, it’s BEAUTIFUL. She speaks so confidently and boldly and a storyteller through and through. The joy she walks in can turn a room upside down, it’s so natural for her. What a gem.
