Oooooh I still have to sit and process the 10 days I just experienced at Training Camp…. so I will just start with an overall cap & introducing my squad and team!
We were all stretched beyond our comfort zones.
We ate strange foods.
We slept outside in 40 degree weather in a tent.
We may have only showered once or twice. (Bucket showers tho…..)
We sung our hearts out to our Father. A lot.
We cried. A LOT.
We dominated in squad wars.
We lived in true community.
We all became best friends.
So I am on S Squad that consists of 40 racers, 4 squad leaders, 4 coaches, and 1 squad mentor. This squad is full of love. This squad is unified in Jesus. This squad is rockin’. These are my people. Here is my dazzlin’ squad:
We are then divided up into teams! So our squad makes up 6 different teams – 4 all girls and 2 all guys! To be on an all girl team is going to be challenging but OH SO FUN! Here is my beautiful lookin’ team:
I’m going to tell you a little bit about each of them I discovered within 10 days of being together! (left to right)
Sammiera: She may only be 21 but WOW does she carry so much wisdom and grace! You need to know information about anything? Sammiera is your girl. I’m SO excited to learn from her and the gift God so graciously gave her.
Emilie: This girl is our jokester and I’m real excited about it. She loves our Father deeply and desires to grow and step out of comfort. She is the GREATEST encourager and cares so deeply for others.
Me: Hola 🙂
Nicole: She came into TC not talking and then EXPLODED with vulnerability and her serving heart. She is also our jokester and doesn’t mess around ha. I can’t wait to learn from her vulnerability and grow with her.
Carly: We have two different personality types but they compliment each other well. She swooped me into her arms from day one (literally holding me while I was sobbing). Her heart is HUGE. Her leadership skills are impeccable.
Lauren: We just insistently clicked and I loved it. She gives the BEST hugs hands down. She may be small, but boy is she mighty. She is always ready to learn more about our Father and lay down her life.
Katy: This is a new but REAL good friendship. She is always ready to listen and speak truth. She is the momma bird of the team – by caring deeply and putting others first. She is a humble servant.
Our team name is Young Royalz (daughters of the Most High King, heirs to the Kingdom). I may be biased but I think I have the BEST team! <3
