This blog is going to be cut into different parts,
Here is the beginning.
Before I start, I want everyone who reads this to first understand I am not bashing the American church, I am not angry or upset with anyone, this is not directed at anyone specific, I am just explaining my experiences and what I’ve learned and read, everything I say in this blog I want you to first take it The Lord, see if it matches up with His heart and scripture, see if what I say is biblical and right, always take what you hear, and FIRST give it to Jesus and see what He says. I’m a human, I don’t have any special degree on theology, I mess up and fail just like you. I’m writing this because I want everyone to know that Holy Spirit is ALIVE and I want everyone to be able to experience the freedom and joy that He gives.
Before the Race, Holy Spirit was something I heard about but never knew about. Holy Spirit wasn’t really talked about; or really anything I knew I could experience, I knew about God and Jesus but was missing part of the trinity. I believe that most American churches often forget about the Holy Spirit, in messages sometimes they will only speak of God and Jesus. Are they against Holy Spirit, are they scared of it, do they want to experience Holy Spirit, do they believe Holy Spirit works and lives inside of you?
Did you know that if you’re a Christian you are born AGAIN of the Spirit?

If you believe in Jesus the only way you believe in Jesus is because you were born again of the Spirit, you didn’t make the decision yourself, you might think you did but you didn’t really, the Holy Spirit came and quickened your life and gave new life into your body that made it alive, the spirit inside of you is giving life to your mortal body. The Spirit of love, he is inside of you, you are born of the spirit, you’re not born of the flesh, you’re not under condemnation, you’re not under sin, you’re not under the power of the enemy, you’re not slaves to sin, you are born of the spirit, you’re slaves of righteousness, pure and holy, glorious and spotless, you have the eternal power of the universe inside of you, like what thats SO COOOOOL you don’t have to struggle with sin you have the Holy Spirit on the inside, you don’t have to struggle with depression or anxiety because you have the joy of Heaven on the inside of you, you don’t have to live in fear because you have the most feared living inside of you and what the Holy Spirit is doing is he’s leading you into truth, and is leading you to the reality of your actual spirit man that is in Heaven already, and leading your mind into the truth of who he’s really made you to be, and the freedom he’s called us to live in.

I want to speak on Acts 2 a little.. Luke speaks perfectly about Holy Spirit.. this chapter was based in the time of Pentecost and it talks about the coming of the Holy Spirit..
* VS2: A wind came from Heaven- Jesus is comparing wind to the Holy spirits work. When you feel the wind, when you get chills, when theres a breeze, that is the Holy Spirit, yes its a feeling. But God created those feelings for a reason.
*VS3: Divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them, in the Old Testament fire often indicates Gods presence. Fire sometimes relates to Gods being or action.
*VS4: States that they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance…. Speaking in tongues, is a gift a spiritual gift The Lord gives when you have Holy Spirit inside of you, we all have different gifts (1 Corinthians 12) and speaking in tongues is often bizarre to people, some don’t like to speak of it, and push it aside but its beautiful and an amazing gift to connect with God and a way God can speak to others. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will experience the spiritual gifts that God has for you and wants to give to you and have you activate and use to grow the kingdom.
At the end of Acts 2, it says God will pour out His spirit, Holy Spirit on all flesh and we will prophesy, we will see visions, we will dream dreams, God will show wonders, He will reveal signs, (Joel 2:28) God speaks to all of us in many different ways such as these as well as prayer, confirmations, or worship. Holy Spirit is nothing but joy and brings gladness, no reason to fear Him or restrain from speaking of Him. God is spirit, and the Spirit gives life (John 6:63) The Holy Spirit works powerfully in and through the words that Jesus speaks. He is not made of physical matter. He is present everywhere. He is not seen, yet He is so powerful He brought the universe in existence.
Spirit in Greek means breath, wind of God, He is a person, a friend just like Jesus but he is the pure spirit, Holy Spirit, He is the breath of God. Where there is fire there’s wind, the tongues of fire came upon these people at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit comes like flames, God releases His fire on you, and baptizes you in that fire and He puts it upon you to carry the fire, your inheritance, because you are born of the Spirit. Anointed, Clothed with the power from on high.
