GOD IS SO GOOD! ALL THE TIME!!!
I am beyond myself right now! When I first signed up for this trip I never expected to be blessed in the ways the Lord has blessed me. One of the ways the Lord has blessed me was through fundraising. When God told me he wanted me to go one this journey I was all in! I signed up did the interview and got put on a squad all before I realized what all this journey would entail. I didn’t realize how expensive all the equipment was or how much money I had to raise to go on the journey. When I started buying the equipment and trying to raise the $15,800 I started to become overwhelmed with how I (key would I) was going to fundraise all that money. God later showed me who was actually raising the funds and who needed to just relax and pray.
When I was coming up to my second deadline of $10,000 before I left for Cambodia. I only need $1,000 more and I wasn’t the least bit worried as my parents had said they would donate $1,000 to me. But then we were now a couple days to the deadline and my parents still had not received there checks. Which was very unusual and in expected. My mom naturally started to feel antsy as she felt bad they had offered to give me $1,000 and now that didn’t seem possible. I woke up on the day of the deadline to a phone call. My mom was in tears. She felt so bad but her check still had not come in and now they couldn’t support me. I told my mom not to worry and that God some how will provide and that I will just ask Missions in Adventures if I could have one more week. She came to pick me up from my grandparents house and She continue to apologize to me. I told her that I didn’t know how but some how God will provided. As soon as I said that I got a bing on my phone. It was an email I opened up the email and I could not believe my eyes! It was a donation for $1,000! I was so stunned I had to ask my mom if the email really said $1,000! We both began to cry and thank God for being so faithful! And this was just the cherry on top the email was delayed two days so the money actually came in on time! God has been so good to me and that is only one instance of his goodness towards me when it comes to fundraising!
I am now $4,000 away from my overall fundraising goal! The LORD IS JUST SO GOOD! And I know he will continue to bless me!
