First week was nothing like I would have expected. Which in some aspects was great! In others I had to do a lot of processing. But overall It’s been a great experience so far.

Tuesday was the first day I started ministry. My ministry in Cambodia for the first month is teaching at a preschool/day care. This was so out of my comfort zone! For those of you that know me you know I dont like school and I’m not very good at it. But God totally had his hand on my team and I. The week went great! I taught the kids the letters A, B, and C by drawing with them, sounding it out, and helping them understand the letters and alphabet a little more. They already knew some English and they picked up on the topics really quickly. I made friends with one of the teachers that works there and she might hangout with my team and I next weekend! I got to talk to her about my faith and she helped me understand a little bit more about the culture and religion in Cambodia. I also got to hear her political view. That was AWESOME! Loved hearing a foreigns perspective about the world. And it was so great to pray over the kids and the teachers and get to make relationships with them over the week. God is just so GOOD! So glad he picked my team to do this because I probably Wouldn’t have if I had The optio. But God ALWAYS know best! Learning that more and more each day.
