9 months have come and gone.
We all have gotten a little bit older. some look older, and others exactly the same as when we left. we all have grown in maturity. our families have grown and shrunk. while we have been away new babies, new siblings, deaths, birthdays. pets have died, new pets have been bought. everything life has gone on and the season we know as the wold race is coming to an end.
The race for me was simple as life.
A life full of community that was healthy and Christ centered. it was a life that was and is full of joy. no matter the place we call our resting place a HOME, and a place for the spirit to fall on us and to be in us. we are a family that walks through the valleys, climbs the mountains together and then sits at the top and enjoys the view together. we grow each other and help each other to walk in the ways of the Lord. we challenge each other. we strive for more of our King together. we point each other back to scripture, and we turn our eyes to Jesus together.
This is a life I’m going to miss but, this doesn’t end here…
When I signed up for the race little did I know that it wasn’t going to end after 9 months. the race has set me up to take the community that I so love and know I want in my life and build it at home. the lord is telling me the race is how he has made the church to be (a family), and if your church isn’t that then lets build one.
ministry definitely doesn’t end here. theres a saying that adventures in missions uses all the time and it is; “ministry is life, and life is ministry” the means it never ends your life should be a mission to serve the lord to love the lord with all your heart mind and soul and to go all in. to live a life pleasing to the lord which is to share the good news. to be vessels and not waste one moment, which means ministry 24/7.
Not done guys this is actually just the start.
I’m going to miss this sweet season but ready for what God has next for me!
