I am Josiah Gutierrez, twenty years old, with a burning passion to share the Gospel of Christ. I have been called this season to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ and share his grace, love, mercy, and greatness to the nations. Missions ways heavy on my heart, and I’d love nothing more than to have allow him to work through me this season. He is sending me to eleven different countries. The countries in question are Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and Peru.

I hope and pray God will speak through me, and allow my supporters to be involved in every step of this journey. I have been passionate about missions for over nine years, and God has lead me through long trips before, but nothing this long before. I am excited, anxious, and a little scared. I know God has big things planned for all the countries that I will have the blessing of living in this upcoming year.

I have lived in the greater Austin area for my entire life. Although Texas may have my heart, I do love to travel. I enjoy running exploring the world around me. I have traveled Mexico and the Philippines on mission trips in the past.

I work at Whataburger, I have been there for over four years, and I work an average of 45 hours a week. When I am not working, I enjoy reading and studying whatever catches my interest at that time.

God has given me a heart for his people, and everything I do is thanks to Him. I have a love for ministry, including prison ministry, and nothing compares to seeing how God could use anyone at anytime for His Glory. It does not matter what you have done or who you are, God loves us all.
