Sanibonani, We are now outside of Johannusburg South Africa! We have been here for about a week. Our team is staying with an organization called Impact Africa. They do a number of things! Are main minstry that we are helping with is evangelism. They gave us an orientation about 2 hours long, so I won’t go through it all. Look them up they are amazing. One of my favorite organizations yet. My team is staying at there base. The team is honored to be staying with a gap year squad that is on there month 2. If there is anybody who isn’t familiar with Adventures in Missions. Gap year is like the world race, but they stay on the field for 9 months and spend 3 months in one country. They are from ages 18-21.

Would love also to talk with you about what I have been learning.

Impact Africa and gap year has been a blessing. Gap year has men on there squad. Change of pace from having 18 girls and 3 guys on our squad. Also the organization has a lot of americans, which is nice. You can tell the difference in ministry. We have a lot longer days here. Africa is a lot more laid back as far as work. Neither is better. It also really nice to be able to have conversations with a lot of different people that can speak english. Being poured into by men of God is awesome as well! There is nothing like it. I never realized how much I missed male leadership and mentorship. P.S Alissa I love you. lol

Ok, back to Lesotho for a minute. We ended very well. On our last visit to the prison a man gave his life to Christ! It was awesome to pray for him. Give God some praise C mon! If we were there for just that one man. This month was worth it. Jesus died on the cross for that man! Just like me and you.

We didn’t have a lot of minstry, but I was grateful to speak a bunch. We got to minister to a lot of people in Lesotho.

We did spend a lot of time with a man named Tsepho. He went to the prison with us. Also he translated for us at the hospital every morning. I am very grateful to have met him. He has given so much for the gospel. He told us a lot of stories and ministered to us a lot. A teacher at heart.

Please keep praying for rain in Mokhotlong Lesotho.

Ok back to South Africa. Wow what a blessing to be here! I love this place, it is a sanctuary.

We are having a blast with everyone here. We have seen many salvations and healings. I am still waiting to see a miraculous healing firsthand. It’s something I know the Lord wants to do. They will happen. For His glory. Such and awesome month so far!

I am also excited to get back to the states. I have been praying about what to do after the race. I got confirmation from the Lord right before I got here. I am staying home in Minnesota at least for a while. I was thinking about doing a program called CGA in Gainesville Georgia. There are also other options.

There is a lot of things that I want to do and things the Lord wants. I know that our desires coincide together. But it is His timing that is hard to wait for. It is so hard sometimes! But I believe who Jesus is. He says he knows what is best for me. More than anyone in the world could know. He is my heavenly father, a father does what is best for his child.

Whatever you do in life, do it for the Lord. It is always a challenge to trust Him when we want what we want.

First, I have to give Him time to speak. I spend hours with Him sometimes in the morning. Seek Him first in everything. I don’t care what I have going on. I come to Him first. Before you make decisions ask the Lord especially if it is a big decision. This is what the bible very clearly calls us to do. Serve the Lord with all your heart. ALL OUR HEART.

Following the Lord is hard, but really rewarding. Living in truth is satisfying our purpose. Digging out old wounds of our past life of sin. Believing with everything that is in me that God wants what is truly best. Because believe it or not sometimes it is hard to believe Him when I am walking by sight and not faith. Oh! So good. Finally and maybe the most important, knowing that this struggle on earth will end. There is a reason why Peter said “rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ”. We are going to be with Jesus! If we endure through suffereing. All this has helped me as the race has been a challenge.

Lastly I have to be open to mistakes. When we step out in faith we will make mistakes. I am clean by His blood and His blood alone. I can make mistakes, thats how I have grown the most.

Just want to encourage everyone who is truly walking with the Lord to keep going. It is so worth it. God is awesome, he wants to walk with us personally.

It is a lot of fun as well being on the race. We make a point to have fun. We literally have a day called adventure day. Our hosts that we stay with try and work it in their schedule. We have gone volcano boarding in Nicaragua. Safaris in South Africa and Swaziland. Have been snorkeling in Indonesia. Went to numerous beaches in different countries. We went hiking in almost every country.

Thank you all so much for keeping up with me. I will probably write about 2 more blogs. One on standing firm in Identity and how that has helped me on the race and our awesome day at a hunting farm.

Prayer requests:

For when I go home. I will be back in the states in about 14 days. It is one of the toughest transitions coming home from a trip like this. AIM talks about it all the time. I’m not going to CGA so I am going to ask for all your prayers. Thank you so much. Leaving a close knit community like this will be tough.

For our squad as we all go into our next seasons of life.

That more people get saved by whatever means. That God would display His power through us.

Gap year, that they grow in there walk with the Lord. I love young people! We have so much fun. Please pray for them.
