About 3 days ago, I got fully funded!! This is such an exciting post to write because a year ago I had no idea where the money would come from for me to be here today. I am writing this post from a Rwandan coffee shop in Kigali and I could honestly say that every facet of my life is changed and I will not be the same person I was before the race when I get back. And I honestly have all my supporters back home to thank. If it wasn’t for your donations and prayers I would not be here and would not have experienced all the life changing things that I have experienced. I just wanted to personally thank all who supported me and contributed to my journey. Thank you:

Words can’t express how grateful I am for each of you and the contribution you made for me to my parents Victor Sanchez and Jacqueline Caban who although they did not understand what I was doing or why at first they supported me from the beginning, helping me think of fundraising ideas, praying continually for me, and for how much of their own personal money they donated. I am so blessed to have amazing parents like them who exemplify Christ so well and I wouldn’t even know Christ if it weren’t for their influence in my life. I would also like to thank my Abuela Mabel for all the help she was in the early stages of my fundraising helping with selling to her friends at church and even collecting donations for the work I am doing right now. She really got my fundraising off the ground and I am so grateful for her. I would also like to personally thank my aunt, Titi Joyce for her consistent contributions to support my expenses while out on the field. I remember her time out on the mission field inspired me to want to be a missionary as well and I am so grateful God put her in my life and even though we live overseas from each other, her heart for missions really caught on to me as well. Last but not least, I would love to thank my aunt, Titi Daly who has been my biggest supporter besides my parents. God has blessed me so much with her presence in my life and everything she has done for me. I will never be able to repay you Titi Daly for everything you have done for me, the prayers, the gear you bought me, your love for camping, the financial support you have given me, I will never forget it. I am about halfway through with my Journey and there is so much more God wants to do and I am so excited to see what he does in the next 5 and a half months.
