This will be a different post than I typically blog. I wanted to give you some details on what my December looked like, and an update on my support raising.
I AM ALMOSY FULLY FUNDED! To be honest, I was not looking forward to support raising. But the Lord has showed up and showed off, and I only have a little over $1,000 left to raise. With the help of some family, dear friends, and even complete strangers, I have been blown away by people’s generosity. If you were still hoping to contribute and you are not already a monthly supporter or have spoken to me in the last week about supporting yes, I would still love to talk to you. There are several options that I can give you to pray through, if the Lord still has it on your heart to give.
I also have an announcement! We have had a route change! Instead of our original route including Mayanmar, we will now be going to Indonesia. This is due to some logistical and Ministry reasons mainly being Indonesia is close proximity to Malaysia and the fact that it is a Muslim country added to the Muslim countries we will already be working with. I’m praying through some impractical fears about Indonesia, mostly dealing with the rat population in there, so if you could be praying for my heart and the hearts of the Indonesian people I would really appreciate it.
Lastly I just wanted to give you the timetable of the last month before I leave. I will be leaving Virginia on December 24th for Florida to spend Christmas with family. The Lord has not revealed to me whether I will be returning to Virginia in the future, because I will be setting up home base for at least a little while in Florida upon returning from the race. From Florida I will be driving back up to Georgia for a few days of training before heading out. We leave the country for Cote d’Ivoire on January 7th.
