Don’t worry, I’m not about to actually make a list that has 1,001 things on it, but I probably could. I am thankful for so much and just wanted to take a minute to thank YOU! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to reflect on the blessings in your life.

Ever since I officially committed to this kind of crazy 11-month trip, people have been nothing but supportive.  And for that, I am overwhelmed, encouraged, and so incredibly thankful.

THANK YOU to every single person who has supported me financially, no matter the amount.  I have reached and exceeded my fundraising goal, which is such an encouragement to me!!!! I am so grateful to have so many people in my life who are willing to support this decision and be a part of what I will be doing over the next year. I would have never come up with the full amount on my own, and what an amazing thing to see God use SO many different people to help me reach this goal***

THANK YOU to every single person who has prayed for me, encouraged me, challenged me, and simply been excited for me to go on the World Race. You have no idea how much it means to me to even hear a few encouraging words! This journey has a lot of ups and downs (already!), so I am really thankful to everyone around me who continues to encourage me. I would still appreciate your encouragement and prayers over the next year!

THANK YOU to everyone who is reading this blog! I want you all to feel like you are a part of this ministry with me, and I’m so excited to share everything that happens over the next year with YOU – the hilarious moments, the heartbreaking moments, and the awe-inspiring moments.

I really cannot thank you all enough, and hopefully you know how much you all mean to me! Being surrounded by so many wonderful people makes it all the harder to leave, but I trust the community I will be spending the next year with will be exactly the people I need for this time in my life.

*** If you were hoping to support me financially, but haven’t gotten around to it yet, I have teammates who are still doing a lot of fundraising and have a long way to go in reaching their goal. I met my team in October at Training Camp and want each and every one of them to be with me on the World Race! You can donate through their blogs (links to my teams’ blogs are on the left) or reach out to me and I can tell you how you can help!
