As I have started this journey I have had many people say wow that’s amazing I could never do that or I wish I could do that! What a wonderful opportunity! And hey I’m right there with you and I used to be that person too. Encouraging others to peruse things that the Lord has laid on their hearts to do. I have offered my prayers and any support that I could give! But I missed the biggest truth in front of me about the trips or ministries that others had, they found their mission field. They found their purpose at that time from the Lord. While I offered what I could, I was never challenged to take a serious look at what my mission field looked like. Was it being a godly wife,  supporting my husband in being the godly leader of our household? Was it being a godly mother, teaching my children how to have a relationship with the Lord and how to stand for your convictions? Was it being the best supporter and friend to those in my life, sacrificing my time and resources for what they needed? What did I have in my life the God could use me in?

Each mission field that we are called to in Matthew 28:19-20

“[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

is not identical to the other. It can be on a grand scale of a being a godly influence as the CEO of a company or it could be bringing treats to your neighbors to live in a tangible way the Bible,  to love your neighbor as yourself. My hope for this trip is to live out the love of Christ. A love that changes lives, so many times in today’s society people are searching for love in all the wrong places. If I can just show them how valued they are in the Lord’s eyes, I know God will work a miracle in them. I challenge you to not see my mission field and just have well wishes. Find your mission field, find your God sized dream, seek the Lord and His guidance in how to serve this sinful world. Don’t let God’s sacrificial love for you be full of words only, let it be filled with action.
