Recently I was volunteering with my local church at an outreach event Impact KC. Where services and items were provided to those in the community free of charge and after members from the church prayed for those who came. Seeing people who lived in my community come in and be able to provide them with such basic needs was both inspiring and convicting. Knowing that there was a need not only here but all over the world as well. This experience was only one day, one moment in time. What if you could devote everyday serving others? What am I able to do? To show God’s true love to people all over the world.
Well that opportunity has presented itself to me in the form of the World Race. Which is an 11 month missions trip to 11 different countries. Everyday seeking the Lord’s guidance in what the people around me need. From taking the time to talk someone, pray for them, or teach Sunday school. Whatever the need is I will be there to be the hands and feet of God. I will be traveling to Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa, Botswana, Bulgaria, Serbia, Spain, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia and will leave January 2019 Lord willing. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to show love to others around the world. Please be in prayer for me through out all steps of this raise, the fundraising, spiritually preparing myself and for the race itself. I need to raise support to cover my international travel, lodging, food and health insurance while on the race, which will be just shy of $19,000. If you feel lead to donate please click the link above to do so. I will be posting to this blog to update all that are interested on my journey both through the fundraising process and throughout the Race. Please leave me a comment of any questions you have and thank you for taking the time to read this!
