hello! it’s jaynna!

i am almost 2 weeks into the second part of training for worldrace:gap year alumni team leader training in georgia! it’s been an interesting 2 weeks; learned/learning some stuff, questioned/questioning some stuff.

first, for those who don’t fully understand what i’m doing: i just got off of a 9 month mission trip. where i was discipled and was making disciples. the Lord has spoken into my identity, my family, my future, my past. i grew in intimacy with the Lord. i’ve fallen deeper into love with Him and His people. and now, i’ve been invited into leading a team of 7 girls for their first 3 months of their race!

which just so happens to start today. spoiler.

so in 30 minutes, our 4 day travel trek begins.

we are going to swaziland. it’s at the very bottom of africa. we will be bussing to DC, flying to qatar, flying to south africa, and then bussing into swaziland. about an estimated 42hour travel “day.” we will arrive thursday. today is monday.

please pray for us. there are 46 of us traveling. 9 leaders and the rest are racers.

it’s going to be good. i’ve got some good books and music and podcast and really good company!

wifi access in swaziland will be very scarce, so i will be in touch when i can!

i am about $1000 away from being fully funded! praise God!! (if you want to donate you can, just scroll up!)

but i just ask for your prayers! for safe travels, encounters with the Lord, growth, revelations, salvations, everything! my teams name is team “YES.” they are so amazing. i am truly so blessed to get to be apart of their lives-they are FUNNY. i love that.

anyways that’s all! just a little update. hopefully i’ll post another blog before we get to swaziland because we know i have the time. haha

love you guys!
