Hello everyone!! Love you all. Writing an update on what has been going in my life and what God has been teaching me!
It’s been two weeks since I have been out on World Race America. I met up with the team in North Carolina, and the next day we took off to Delaware. We stayed in Delaware at a beautiful house hosted by incredible people. We worked with a couple different organizations and had quality time with our host, and getting to step into their daily lives. I am with a whole new group of people on World Race America. I am loving and learning to get to know each of them and do life with them. On my walk and faith journey I have noticed that I am getting used to change in life, as we know, anything in life is susceptible to change. We change clothes, shoes, hair, thoughts, everything in life is constantly changing, but it all belongs. The one thing I can count on to remain the same is God. The truth will never change, Gods love will always remain. God will take us deeper or you may back away, but he will never change.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever
We worked with an amazing Christ lead organization called Love inc, and absolutely loved the staff and their call. At Love inc we got to help the staff, do landscape, and get to know whoever walked in the door. We also got to hangout with Kelsey, a woman of God. She has a passion for cooking the most flavorful, zesty, Plant Based meals. Her heart will remain with me forever. We shared our Plant Based, whole food love. It was amazing to step into what is life for this family. We also got to work with a soup kitchen called jussst sooup. A soup kitchen that is was remodeled by the show extreme makeover. We got to do outside work, paint fences, and trim trees. We then took off to Kensington, Philadelphia!
We are currently in quarantine here in Kensington, Philadelphia. We are partnered with ‘Rock Ministry” which is a boxing gym ministry. Kensington is known as the Heroin Capital of the World. If your on the streets in Kensington your either an addict, dealer, or a Christian. The first night of ministry I witnessed someone who got stabbed at a street corner. This ministry is well known in the neighbor hood, and they help the community in all ways. We assist in coffee shops, park clean ups, bible studies, odds and ends and evangelism. This place makes Gods word literally come off the pages. There is a still peace, being the Light in the Darkness. We have been praying, resting, worshiping, and spending time with God. We are also in a gym, and we get lots of free time. There is no place I’d rather be than in Kensington, Philadelphia. It’s honestly amazing to be locked up in a gym, I’m getting quality time with Jesus working out with him.
The virus happening all I can say is Revival!!
There is good to come and revival happening here in America. God is sending 540 off the field from overseas from just the World Race (Adventure in Missions) alone. America is ripe for revival. 2020 was the vision over so many prophesies. Revival hit South America and Africa, China has the biggest church population. Now is the time for America! I am just glad to be a part of whatever he is doing!
I know the virus is real and active but, I will always read this one passage;
Romans 8 31-39
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died and more than that who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written,
“For your sake we are being killed all the day long, we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, j things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus or Lord
Love is the point. There is no other way to life, but the realization that God loves us. In the mist of the Chaos, there are certain questions that come up?
If it all hits the fan..
Is Jesus enough??
If this all goes down, will you have enough faith in Jesus? Is there something you are holding on to and need to clean up in your heart and repent?
This is sooo so beautiful because I’m learning about the heart… I need to know Jesus is enough!!
God has been stretching me in ways I didn’t know possible here in the last two weeks! World Race America! I can see why God has me placed here.
I will share what I have learned. I kept reading in my quiet time about the Heart. Every single time it kept coming up again and again. I am at a place of need to learn more about the Fathers heart. Andrew, my brother I get to do life with showed me a podcast by Gary Black, about the Fathers heart. Gary is one of the leader for World Race America and runs G42, which is a discipleship and leadership academy in Spain.
I listened and was blown away by the fact that I am a pure hearted man, that my heart is pure! God owns my temple. I am a man that lives by the spirit with a clean heart. When I started my walk I always kept in my head,
Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?
I always kept this and thought that the ways of all man are totally wicked including myself, my feelings we’re not right. I thought Jesus was something that protected me from myself because of my heart. That my heart is deceitful and my inner being is wicked. When in fact,
1 John 1: 7-9
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have to sin, we deceive ourselves, an the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
There is 841 verses about the heart in the New Testament. This is what?? No way! We are purified by the blood!
This is when I thought about the question??
IS JESUS ENOUGH?? I need to make sure my heart is pure and clean. I brought up all my past and present struggles I need purification. God does what he does best, he is faithful.
When I was in Green Bay I was blessed to meet this man named JJ Johnson. One of my good friends and brother in Christ. I am blessed to know this man. I met with him and he always talks about the heart behind his life. I know he sees my heart behind life. It truly comes down to living life with a whole heart. What God put in you..
God speaks through the heart. The spirit lives in your heart, you soul (mind) is taking every thought captive. Jesus said take your cross up daily and kill yourself and live for him. Crucify your flesh and live loving God with all your heart, strength, Soul, Mind! When your soul, heart, spirit, and flesh line up. Your flesh belongs. Your walking step by step with the Spirit. We live too doctrinally and not living with Jesus being everything. I love the word but you can argue till hands are thrown about Calvinism and Arminianism.. lots of doctrine. Paul said it best;
1 Corinthians 2:2
All I know is Christ, and Christ crucified
There is no need to divide over what we can’t prove in doctrine. Christ is King! Jesus is life.
Jesus is enough.
