This is written by Silo! I helped her write this! She is beautiful women, and great mother! She reads my blogs so she wanted to write one about our team and her time with us!

Emily Spencer, a bright young orange hailing from Florida. I met Emily through my friend Suvdaa. She told me about Emily and her team looking for a missions opportunity and a good way to spread God’s love. My first time meeting her was at her hostel in Ulaanbaatar. My first impression of Emily was that she was so sweet. She fell in love with my children at first sight. I meet the other teammates the next day. I thought they were very open and they’re had a good connection with God. I showed them the routes and trips we could take. They decided to go three places. First Erdenet, Baynkhongor, and Khovd. The next day I invited them into my home. I made them a fantastic traditional Mongolian dumpling soup. They met my husband Shoogi. He loved them as well. They played with our kids and were very comfortable with them. I felt in my heart that God wants me to pursue them. The next day we took a train to Erdenet. I lived in Erdenet from 1993 to 2011. I know people that live there and was excited to see all my friends and family. Our friends Gantulga & Doogii came to pick us up with there cars. The church group took the team in with open arms and we’re so kind. The team stayed in a church house and it was very comfortable for them. They seemed to like it. Everyplace we went was very welcoming. Doogii was nice enough to lend me his car. I drove the crew out to the countryside, to my friends family. Ganchimeg came to the countryside with me in my car. Doogii drove the other car. We rode horses, saw animals, and the ways of the life in the countryside. We saw baby goats. My kids have never been to the countryside in there life yet. I grew up in a yurt till I was 6 years old. I lived in a yurt 2008-2009 as well. I know the countryside very well. We had church the next day. Easter Sunday and we had two services to go to. I took them to Mongolian’s biggest church. We then went to the sisters church of the big one. It is named Jesus Love, it was the church the team was living at. It was a great service. The crew meet the YWAM Mongolian group at the big service. At the sister church the crew got to pray over the people at the church. A little girl played the flute. The group gave out bibles. It was very touching. In my spirit they had done something in that church. It was very special. The team was welcomed into many homes for food and shower. The people from the church and my friends we so caring for them. I took the team for an Easter celebration at Yerenburged & Munkhtuya’s house. The big father is an electrician. The wife and husband work for mining company. It’s a typical job for Edenet residents. The team had there first prayer for my husband at the Easter celebration. Shoogi felt relieved after the team prayed for him. I took the team the next day to the YWAM base and they had a great worship with them. My church friends Altansukh & Tsolmon had the team over for lunch. They let them try on Deel, witch is the Mongolian national uniform. My sister Ulzii who lives in Erdenet had them over lunch as well. She prepared for them a delicious veggie soup and the team seemed to loved it. The team is very grateful for the hospitality. The team prayed for everyone at the gatherings we went to. My husband Shoogi is part of the AA class and knew people in Erdent. Jordan and Jacob got to pray over the men in the class. The team also got to pray over my friend Bekhbat & Davkharbayar. She was my friend since I was little. I pray for the team morning and I pray these verses over them. Ephesians Chapter 6 Verse 13-20.

  1. “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may withstand the evil day, and having done all to stand firm.”
  2. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.
  3. And, as for your feet, have put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
  4. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with witch you can extinguish the flames of evil
  5. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, witch is the word of a God.
  6. Praying at all time with the spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
  7. And also for me, that the words maybe given to me in opening my mouth to boldly proclaim the gospel.
  8. For witch I am an ambassador my chains, that I may declare in boldly, as I ought to speak.

We went back Ulaanbaatar. We rested and washed up from our time North in Erdent. The team had time to rest as well. It was a busy week and the rest was great. I went with the team to the Asia conference 2019 in Ulaanbaatar. Very nice time and my daughter had fun. A very powerful presence of God. Went then took off on a bus to Bayankhongor. A very good bus ride and we had a good time. We stayed with my friends Oyunbold & Badamtuya. They were very nice. They had no money to host us but still were very kind. They provided meals for the team and my family. She had to borrow meat from her friend. The team took showers at a boxing gym that they owned. They are a Christian family. Oyunbold runs a boxing gym training kids. It’s there ministry as well. I showed the team the YWAM team and the Mustard seed coffee they owned. We were hosted for lunch from Shoogis friend Erdenebaatar & Munkhbat. The team got to share the good news with classes Oyunbold was running. The kids loved it. Batdorj, Shoogi’s friend had the team over for dinner. They stay at the YWAM base outside in a Yurt. The wife cooked a beautiful dinner. The family has a great background. The family is a great testimony of how Jesus can move a heart. The 95 year old grandma of the family I really loved. The yurt was very special, it was a double yurt. They invited the team to stay, and are so kind. The team prayed over the family. The team had a great connection with the family and impacted the area deeply. We took the team to shoogis home when he was a young boy and pray for his friend Ganbat. It was very special. We got ready for the night bus. We are to take a bus to Hovd the next day. We missed our first bus and we felt hopeless because we might not have a bus coming through for a long time. My family and the team were all ready for bed. Erdenebaatar and his son offered and we’re kind enough to take the team and myself in for the noght. Then! A miracle happened. The man called me again! There was a bus leaving in 5 minutes and my family and the team quickly got ready and caught the bus at midnight. This was our only hope! We got into Hovd. Tired from the 12 hour bis ride and taxi. We take the first day to sabbath and it was relaxing. The next day we are praying for Shoogi and he say he’s ready to get baptized! The team prayed a lot for my husband. I can recognize a change in my husband. He’s been touched by the World Race team. The team then prayed for my auntie Nyamdavan. My mothers younger sister. She is a beautiful woman. She likes the World Race team. The team and my family are staying at her place. The team was all there and Shoogi was baptized in the tub of Nyamdavaas house by Jacob. I could feel the presence of the lord. Shoogi was so excited! The team really loved my husband and family. It was special. At night my cousins Gankhuyag & Munkhsoyol had a dinner of sheepshead. The team thought is was very good. It was funny to watch them eat it. This team is very powerful and the prayer is amazing. This team is full of Holy Spirit. I will miss them and so will my family. We have been added the team to my family. We will continue to pray for them. A lot of good memories for my family and the whole team will be forever in my heart. At the beginning I was wondering if it was God’s will to take them and people said back home it was a bad idea. I stayed obedient to Gods will. God is never wrong! It was a great time spent with Emily, Jordan, Jacob, Heidi, and Ari. I love the World Race Team!

Much love, Silo!
