Bruce Springsteen was engraved into my head since I was a little lad. My dads favorite artist. I’m so glad because his music as I become older is making more sense to why it is his favorite! I listen to him a lot. In Mongolia everything is so Raw! People are so earthy and ready to receive Jesus. We are staying on the floor of a little church. Our translator and good friend Silo and her family are amazing to show us around. I feel like she knows the whole country of Mongolia. It’s been a wild ride! We went and saw the countryside and met with a family out there. We saw so many animals and yurts! We went to church and there is so many great people in Mongolia! I felt weight down spiritually the first couple of days. People NEED Jesus. Lots of addiction and people lost looking for life. At the end of the church service we pray for all the people. We’re praying and there’s a line of people that need prayer. We are praying and we talked about praying in tongues the last morning. I thought about it and said if it happens it happens. We are praying for these individuals at the church and I try to understand what our team leader Emily was saying in her prayer. She was speaking in tongues. I all of a sudden feel my stomach coming up to my mouth. It was wild! I starting laughing so hard! I kept smiling and look at Jordan and am freaking out! I’m sweating. We pray over the next person and I’m sitting there and can not stop laughing. Emily says “Jake is there something you’d like to say?” I say Yeah! I’m thinking to myself C’mon speak it! It’s all so strange at first and all of a sudden it starts to pour out! It’s wild! My thoughts we’re still completely intact upstairs and I’m smiling so hard the whole time. Tongues is a prayer language that is the Holy Spirit praying from you. It was so crazy! Ahh! We have been so busy praying for people in this town! People from church bringing us food and having so much love! We got to pray for two men and give them bibles at an Alcohol Anonymous meeting. So beautiful. I’ve meet lawyers, anesthesiologists, pastors, so many people in Mongolia! We pray for them all! My world stopped when we go to visit this disabled kindergarten. My heart sinks like a rock in the depths of the water. Stopped. I got rocked on the question “God why? Why? This is why people don’t believe in you?” I kept observing life. It’s not at all fair sometimes. It took me a day or two of brining it up to him. I’m in the coffee shop and there it is. I’ve rejoiced that life is not fair! If God gives us all we needed to make life perfect, could you imagine the world? Look at the world right now. Who hasn’t done anything dumb and made mistakes. Imagine if we got everything we wanted. Could you imagine. It would be out of control! It‘s not perfect for a reason. It’s a beautiful revolution. God loves those very special people. I love those people. God is good! He answers prayers! He listens! He is merciful! C’mon! Forgiveness is what makes my world go round! Bruce Springsteen said it best “Dancing in the dark” is sometimes all you can do! Love it! The world is as perfect as you make it!

Much Love!!
