Here’s some photos that (somewhat) capture last month in Swaziland:

My team, Kainoseros, on a scavenger hunt in the city of Manzini, Swaziland. Our host prepared the scavenger hunt for us to get to know our way around the city.

The community garden that we worked in all month. We planted potatoes and squash. We also talked a lot about the soil of our hearts when viewed through reading from Luke 8.

Group photo from the soccer match that we hosted with some local men. We played 90 minutes of soccer and then had a devotional about what it means to be a strong man of God.

A group of squadmates worshipping in a park in Manzini. On Mondays we had “Market Ministry” which basically involved walking around the city and following wherever the Holy Spirit led us.

The Agriculture Team: Shiloh, myself, Abby, Victoria, and Brynna. Justice (far left) was our leader. He taught us a lot about farming, but my favorite thing about him was his laugh.

When the hosts asked for help making dinner, I found myself cutting off the head of a chicken. From this day on, I actually had to use my alarm clock to wake up at 5 AM.

Eva, Amanda, Jenny, Cody, Savannah, me, Malysa, Abby and Adria. On our adventure day, we went on a hike to a waterfall. We also got to see a cultural dance in a traditional village.

Abby, Savannah and me walking through the bus rank to catch a ride back to the homestead after a day in town. Our debut album is still in the works but we found the cover photo.

Sunrise from the homestead. The picture doesn’t do it justice. Our hosts had a beautiful piece of property outside the city. They provided a great space for us to hang out and enjoy.

This is my friend Wesley. He works at the Manzini Market selling handmade crafts to support his wife and children. Pray that God continues to provide for them financially.

Welcome (left) and Ncedo (right) came to see us every day after school. They have so much joy and potential. Find out more about their care point at ntabamhloshana.hopechest.org

I went golfing with my friends Eva, Savannah and Shiloh on the last day in Swaziland. It was nice to relax and unwind after another great month of ministry. Ready for the next month!
We have been in Cape Town, South Africa for a little over a week now. We are working with Kingdom Sports Ministry. God is moving here. More on that later. Thanks for reading!
