If you don’t know me, I’m Hailey. I grew up in a small town in North Alabama. Growing up my life consisted of secret hide outs in the woods, mud fights, and drinking out of the water hose. My plan growing up was always to attend college straight out of High School. But as time got closer I began to look at other options. I was surprised at how many options for gap years there are! I never thought of taking one til then. One day I randomly saw an add for the World Race and clicked on it. I felt so much joy and excitement looking into it. It seemed exactly What I was looking for. Before I even applied I made a packing list out and fundraising plans. I wanted to do it but I wanted to make sure it was the right thing and part of God’s plan for me so I didn’t apply right away. In the following months the World Race kept coming up. I’m talking ad after ad. People actually went to my siblings school speaking about it. And I met a women on the beach who told me about a family memember going. I began coming more and more passionate about it. So 4 months later I applied. And so here I am! This September I will be leaving for a 9 month journey. Me and my team will be going to Ecuador, Peru, Cambodia, and Guatemala to spread the gospel and serve people. I believe this is going to be an amazing experience for me and my team. I can’t wait to see what God does through us and how much we grow! I ask for lots of prayers and support from you as I take this step of faith! I’m so excited to share this adventure with you guys so please subscribe to my blog! I will be blogging regularly throughout my trip and the following months before we go! Thanks so much!
Mathew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
