“What!? I am? Are you serious??” I stared in shock at the faces around me. My teammates, were in earnest though. Laughing and smiling, “Yes, Gabby we checked and its true: You are fully funded!”
I didn’t quite believe them, but when I had a chance yesterday to check, I saw that what they said was true! I am honestly feeling a mix of emotions with this news-gratefulness, happiness, joy, humbled, and totally STOKED!!! Last year when I signed up for the Race, I asked God this question: “If you really want to me to go on this adventure can you please help me be mostly/fully funded before I go to training camp?” He answered with a “Yes.” I was very close to belong fully funded when I arrived at training camp in Gainesville, Georgia a little over four weeks ago. Then I wondered and eventually asked Him if I could be fully funded before September. He answered with a BIG “Yes!” And I am immensley grateful. Not only for him saying yes, but for all the support from you all!!
I seriously could not be on this journey without the financial support, prayerful support, and encouragement from my family, friends, and acquaintances. Without you, I would not be in Nicaragua helping REAP Granada reach the local community here. I would be not be traveling the world to help serve and love on people and learn life lessons along the way. So, from the bottom of my heart:
