We partnered with Beth and Jherson with Conexión ministries this month, they’re the BEST.
We did kids recreation with a handful of sifferent schools all around San Jose. Gaga ball, parachute games, a trampoline, a bounce house and much more! these days were long but sweet— so many smiling kids!!

One of our first days of ministry looked like cleaning out and repainting a medical container… lots of sorting through cabinets of medicine and wondering what the sticky substance was on the bags we found….
We did Zumba and recreational activities at a women’s prison for 2 days, which was a blast and an experience in itself. The ladies there were so sweet and open to chatting with us. Some of us played 9 square for 3 hours, and others did Zumba the ENTIRE day.
The cutest and sweetest Zumba instructor there ever was (green shorts). ??????
We went on an adventure for my birthday to a nature area at the base of a volcano. And half of The people in this photo got stranded on said volcano because Uber’s kept canceling on them… but we all made it home safe and sound!! A good day!!
We had a fire pit in our backyard, and Zoe had way too much fun building this fire one of our last nights there.
Our bus driver, Alfredo, who we randomly saw while driving home from an adventure day. The sweetest. Already missing him big time.
Right before we got on a bus to Jaco… our Base hosts Kevin and Anna were such lights and encouragement over the 3 weeks we were there. Super grateful for them.
My team is now in Jaco, Costa Rica at a ministry called Ocean’s Edge. I think we’re all feeling different things about it being our last month om the Race… prayers would be appreciated as we all try to soak it in as much as we can this month, and start preparing for the journey home ??
