Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden“.
The Lord showed me this verse as I looked out at the rows and rows of houses sitting on the beautiful mountains here. My sweet Father reminded me that even though Quito is broken and there is pain and heartbreak here, he sees it. He is holding this city in his hands, and it is not hidden from him.
The Lord told me to pray boldly over this city- to ask for big things. So my prayer for Quito is that it becomes a city of revival; a city on fire for Christ and his love and grace. I will be praying dangerous prayers over the next 2 months I am here and after I leave, and I ask that you do the same. Pray boldly for revival and that Christ’s name will ring loudly throughout the mountains and valleys of Quito.
I would also like to thank you all for your continued prayer and support. Each and every one of you are such blessings in my life. But, I still have around $5,000 to raise before January in order to stay on the mission field. I ask that you pray for me at this time, and ask the Lord to provide the funds to make this possible.
