My name is Emily Ann.
I am 22 years old, born and raised in Rome, GA.
I am graduating from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Integrated Studies.
I have two wonderful parents who have not only raised my brother and I in church, but raised us in Christ. Both of my parents have installed in me a love for people. Over the years, I have watched my parents love so many that come from all different walks of life. It is an amazing thing getting to grow up and being able to watch your parents truly live out the love of Christ in all aspects of their life.
My dad taught me to love Jesus, the outdoors, Auburn, and SEC Football (with the exception of Alabama.)
My mom taught me to love Jesus, laugh at my own jokes, and not to take life too serious.
I have a younger brother Evan, who turns 20 years old next month. Growing up with a little brother has been one of my greatest blessings. Evan has taught me more life lessons than I can count. One thing I love most about Evan is he never fails to make others laugh. Evan has also taught me you don’t have to live on a ranch to be a cowboy. But more importantly, Evan is my first and forever best friend.
One of the other most influential people in my life has been my grandmother. Anyone who has had the privilege to meet her and see how she lives her day to day life knows she truly is an angel on earth. At 79 years old, she is the hardest working, most loving, Godly woman I know. Her love for Jesus shines brighter than anyone I have ever met. She inspires me to love harder, give more, and be a little more selfless everyday. May we all learn to be a little more like my grandmother!
