WHAT  I   AM   DOING  AFTER  THE  RACE

I have been accepted and am going to Atlanta Georgia for another 5 months starting in August with CGA. The program, CGA – Center for Global Action, is run by Adventures in Missions as a opportunity to continue on with them as a next step after the race. CGA’s purpose is to teach and help walk apprentices through how to apply and transition what we learned on the race to everyday living, while embracing their Moto; know yourself, lead yourself, lead others.

THEIR   MISSION   STATEMENT

The Center for Global Action exists to mobilize a generation to be passionate followers of Jesus who live out their faith whether at home, professionally, or church planting overseas.

WHAT  I  WILL  BE  DOING

CGA is a Monday to Friday classroom setting where in the mornings we will be having sessions and teaching, book studies, bible lessons, learning about disciplines and stewardship of our stuff and time and much more. Another part of CGA is activating on what we learn in the morning. In the afternoon we have time off to go out into the community and share and use the new skills acquired with the people we meet, work with or come into contact with. We are also required to volunteer one or more days a week in a community organization.

WHY I WANT TO GO

I am in a season of growing and learning right now and I don’t want that to stop. I describe it as a season of being a sponge… I am trying to soak in as much information, teachings, way of living, good habits and new ways of thinking. CGA is a opportunity where I will continue to soak up all these things but as well as getting taught how to apply what I’ve learned and release it on to other.

HOW I NEED YOUR HELP

In order to go to CGA I need to raise another $5,950 USD!! My first dead line is $2000 by august 2nd. This money goes towards housing, paying the teachers, AND the Capstone trip!

“Capstone is about you getting set out into the real world and using the skills and lessons you’ve learned in class to be the ultimate resource for your time at CGA.Our hope is that Capstone puts into practice and frames the perspective of value that your months of hard work at CGA has paid off, and you feel prepared to build and establish Kingdom anywhere you choose to go after your time in Georgia.”

If you feel called to partner with me through this next season of my life continuing on in the mission field I would love to talk more if you have questions.

HOW TO PARTNER WITH ME

-prayers, lots and lots of prayers as this program isn’t going to be easy and I will be pushed to step outside of my comfort zone and be bold in the name of the Lord. As well that the funds will come in!

  • Financially: you can donate here on my blog site but it is in USD NOTCanadian so you will be charged more than you put thinking its Canadian rate.
  • Message me and we can work together to put it in another way
  • E-transfer me @ [email protected]

I know this doesn’t seem like the typical ‘mission’ work but it a preparation for possibly getting sent back out on the field in the future and discipling to anyone anywhere, even back home in Calgary!

Please reach out if you have a question(s), I would love to talk with you and meet up when I get home.
