It’s time to introduce you to my Teammate Kylie Cain!
*This picture is from Training Camp almost a year ago! Who knew we would in fact end up on a team together!! Also we were freezing!
1. Fun fact about us
It took me at least one month to be confident in spelling Kylie’s name. Also, our personalities are so similar we often say we are the same person.
2. The ministry she thrives in
Kylie THRIVES in ministry with teens and young adult girls. She can connect so well with them and asks the harder questions that they don’t always want to answer. (she does this with us too)
3. The hairstyle she rocks the most
BRAIDS! Kylie is our squad braider but does them in her hair at least once a week. It results in her (seriously) beautiful, long, brown hair being crimped in a stunning way!!
4. The spiritual gift I see her walking in the most
I talked about the gift of prophecy for Kylie in number 7 so for this answer I will say peace. I know it is more of a fruit of the Spirit, but Kylie walks in it and personifies it so much that she can change the atmosphere of a room, and that my friends is a gift!
5. Her Disney Princess
Bell! If Bell had headphones I think she would have loved music as much as Kylie does too!
6. A ministry memory
In Nepal Kylie was discovering the gift of prophecy and I was still discovering everything about her. One day she received a vision of a young girl we were talking to seeing her family again. Out of obedience to God she went and told the young girl what she saw the girl was so encouraged by what Kylie shared and I was blown away at Kylie’s boldness! Little did I know that was the first time she had ever done anything like that, from the outside looking in it all seemed so natural, which shows me how true it is that Kylie does in fact have the gift of prophecy!
7. The personality “quirk” that I love the most
Kylie has a squeal that comes out pretty frequently. It happens when she is excited, when she thinks something is really adorable, when she might cry from sadness or cuteness. It is pretty much whenever something touches her emotions and usually leads to her hiding her face in her fists for a few seconds while she recomposes herself.
8. Where I have seen her grow the most
This girls confidence is fire! It has blossomed so much in these past few months together and honestly has been since the beginning of the race!
9. How she has helped me grow
Kylie has helped me grow in my independence in my thinking. She allows me to always figure out my own thoughts even when they are different than others!
10. Her signature dance move
If you spend one day with Kylie you will see her Whip at least ten times throughout the day, pretty much whenever she gets excited about anything.
11. The word God gave me when I asked Him who she is
LIBERATED!!
