• Where is the room key?
  • I love the sound of dry shampoo in the morning.
  • Do you have the out key?
  • This toilet has a toilet seat!
  • Is anyone in the room to let us in?
  • Where is the toilet paper?
  • Can you buzz me out?
  • What was that??
  • Is the key in the register?
  • Whose underwear fell off the clothes line?
  • Can you hand me the key?
  • I’m sorry I don’t understand you.
  • Wait, is this the girl’s room key?
  • This is the last clean item of clothing I have…
  • Is this the room key or the out key?
  • How did you get those?

As you can probably tell there were a lot of questions asked about different keys. We needed to keep all doors locked and closed and only had one key per door for the most part. In the beginning of the month I made the decision I just needed to never use the keys myself. Then I was asked to run upstairs and get a key by using another key and tried to get out of it. But I ended up going upstairs and getting the other key and when I came back down I talked to Brittany about why I almost said no. She immediately stopped me in my tracks and asked, “Is God bigger than a key situation?” After that I no longer worried about the keys. I used them when we needed and just sat outside the doors when I was locked out.

I am so thankful Brittany stopped me in my tracks because that little lesson can be used in so many areas. It changed my outlook on many areas during this month!!
