Living Accommodations: We lived above the daycare in a Cambodian style house with mats on the floor. I ended up tying my hammock to the windows for the month after being attacked by ants my first night.

Meals: Ran on coffee (mainly sugar) and one meal a day most days. We had local food restaurants or the market to buy from for meals. We became regulars at a restaurant on the corner (great people, but it’s always a surprise what meal you end up getting)

Weirdest thing I ate? Was it good? This month I had a grasshopper, tarantula, and scorpion. I don’t recommend any of them, but the scorpion had the best flavor!

My new calling in life? Student assemblies. Every Friday we had an assembly for the students with games, songs, and a skit. This is where I thrived the most! Leading the dances was probably the most fun I’ve had.
