Not to long after I got into 6’th grade I was approached by a girl in my youth group and she invited me to a bible study that she had been having at her house. I went that first night and I was hooked. The worship that night was unlike anything I had ever experienced and I loved it. It was not anything crazy going on, just a bunch of teenagers in the upstairs of a house seeking after God. I kept going and it became the thing that I looked forward to every week. At this point in time my relationship with God began to truly kick off, and I went deeper into God’s presence. This was a very important time in my life and it honestly changed me. God led me this way and gave me strength for the struggles that would soon be coming my way. Eventually the small bible study I was going to expanded and it got to the point to where we were having tent youth revivals in the town with thousands of youth attending and their lives being changed, I’ve seen the power of God move among youth and young adults and I believe that it can and will happen again while I am on this mission trip.
