It has been a joy getting to know my team this past month. We are the Lowin Warriors which is German for warrior lioness. We chose this name because the lioness is gentle, yet fierce. We will all be changing teams later on in the Race, but I’m happy to have these beautiful and amazing ladies on my team. Here is a brief introduction to my team.

Debora-She is from Switzerland which is amazing! She is kind, a hard worker, and always provides us with a good laugh on the differences between living in America and living in Switzerland.

Emalae-Our fearless team leader from Nova Scotia. She has amazing insight into things and does an incredible job of leading our team well and calling us higher.

Daniella-She is from Georgia and she is remarkably good at being intentional with people and has been working hard at her Spanish to be able to connect with people at our ministry site and people we meet in passing.

Megan-She is from Georgia and does a great job building community within our team. She is very encouraging and knows how to bring out the best in anyone she meets.

Prayer request: On Wednesday morning we will be taking a bus ride to Nicaragua. We will be having a three day debrief with our entire squad. Please pray for safe travels and healthy processing of our first month on the World Race.

Fundraising update: Thanks to the generosity of family and friends I currently have $13,200 of the $18,200 I need for the World Race. If you have not done so already, would you prayerfully consider partnering with me on this journey with a one time or monthly gift? A gift of any size is greatly appreciated.
