Sometimes on the race, you find a beautiful field on the side of a mountian and catch yourself falling even more deeply in love with our Makers creations.

Sometimes on the race, you rush to the toilet and give it a hug because you’re at an all time level 10. You soon realize some of your squad mates have walked in on you as you’re hugging the toilet. They first decide to take pictures of you for memory sake (of course) then offer to hold your hair back and tell you funny stories to lighten the mood. Never did I think I would make friend over a toilet at 1am.

Sometimes on the race, you get to go canyoning an jump off waterfalls that are well over 20ft high and repel down large canyons all while its 50 degrees and raining.

Sometimes on the race, you find yourself serving and praying for the homeless people of Ecuador. Realizing that they are actually doing more for you than we could possible do for them. – Their smiles brighten my day and give me the encouragement I need to keep me going.

Sometimes on the race, you wake up at 5:30am and climb up to the rooftop because no ones there and you are in desperate need of some introvert time, as well as some quality one on one time with the Lord.

Sometimes on the race, you get to go zip lining through a rainforest and spend some quality time with friends.

Sometimes on the race, you enjoy the best food you’ve ever had and for the lowest price.
