So of course I brought essential oils with me on the race because why wouldn’t I. my mother raised me with a strong understanding and passion for natural medicine, especially when it came to essential oils. I have learned a lot about how the lord loves to use oils to heal people and how he gave them to use to heal naturally. The other day I took some oils with me as my team and I went out for home visits. I asked the lord to use them to heal people that day. I asked him to allow the oils to be a way that I could talk about how he is a healer and how he gave us these oils so that he can do crazy miracles through them.
Tuesday morning, we walked down to our friend Ruth’s shop. After getting there the most adorable old lady was sitting in the back of the shop at a hut. With the help of Vuthi translating I was able to introduce myself and talk to her. Her name is boon, she is eighty-six years old, and right after meeting her she pointed out how skinny she was because she was old. She then randomly told me that she was experiencing pain in her arm. I was shocked that she had just said that because I had asked the lord to give me someone who needed healing. I then asked if I could put oils on her arm and pray for her. Without hesitation she was taking her shirt off so that I could put oils on her. I quickly turned to my team and told them what was happening because I couldn’t believe that this little old woman was getting naked in the middle of someone’s shop in town so that I could pray for healing over her arm. Talk about Jesus. Seriously the lord orchestrated every moment so perfectly. I then got to put oils all over her arm and my team and I got to pray for healing. I believe in that moment the lord brought so much of it. After we where done I asked her how she felt. She tried telling me she felt better but it was only because the oils that I had put on her where supposed to heal. Vuthi then explained to me how she was a very strong Buddhist. So I got to witness to her by telling her that my God is the ultimate healer and the oils only heal because Jesus name is powerful and he gave them to us to use as a tool. And then i got to ask her about Buddhism and had her explain to me why she believes what she does. it was such a beautiful time to get to pure into her and to learn more about what she believes and why.
God is so real!!! Everyday Im blown away by how present and active the holy spirit is inside of us. and im learning i hear the lord in so many different ways. that hearing his voice comes often times through the people around me. and through his creation. and wow its so cool!!!!
