Hello all!! It’s been a while, but with limited WiFi and zero service it’s been pretty hard to post. Thanks to the Lord’s unfailing provision and my supporters generosity, I am in Nsoko, Swaziland. It has been wonderful!!! Here’s a little insight on my race so far, because in just a month I already have so many amazing things to share. So, here are some of the many good times I’ve had since I left home.

Last lunch in the US of A with my dawgz. (Yea of course it was chick-fil-a)

14 hour layover in Boston before heading to off to another 14 hour layover in Doha, Qatar.

Wasn’t expecting this on a missionaries budget but what a pleasant surprise.

They don’t sell these stuffed teddy bears at Costco!

After 2.5 days of travel we finally landed in Johannesburg, South Africa. Now a bus ride to Swaziland.

Check this out! I don’t think I know many people who can say they relieved their bladder while watching rhinos drink at the watering hole.

Our humble abode for the next three months.
It’s currently being constructed so the guys and I will be in tents for a few weeks till our room is finished and there’s no electricity, but we are all loving life and who doesn’t enjoy the light of oil lamps?

Not long after arriving we already had some friends eager to play and show us their toys. I’m just constantly amazed by the creativity that the people here have. This guy made a truck out of wire and bottle caps as wheels.

My lil pal Guando staying hydrated at the well after running around the playground together.

This is too precious not to share.

Just another new friend of ours hangin out at the local restaurant. No big deal ????‍??

A nice bus ride home from the restaurant.

When you wake up on a Saturday morning and are craving scrambled eggs and cinnamon toast but you’re completely out of propane, you get creative.

The sky here has looked like this almost every single evening since we came. I’m just too spoiled.

On Monday nights, the guys on my team and I stay at a ministry hosts house in preparation and further discipleship for prison ministry on Tuesday where we get to fellowship, worship and grow more in our relationship with the Lord alongside our brothers in Christ in the prison. It’s a nice little getaway for a night.

Wednesday-Friday we are back in our area at care points where we have the opportunity to feed the neighborhood kids, play soccer, sing, dance and teach bible lessons. So the following pictures are some pictures taken at our care point.

“Please take a picture of me”

Sugar cane is a huge part of the agriculture here and it’s also a great snack!

I now know how to make a soccer ball out of sand and plastic bags.

So. Many. Friends!

No favoritism Caelum!!

All smiles…

Well okay maybe not ALL smiles.

The leader of my care point and I taking some selfies, of course.

There are goats all over the place and we had been trying to catch one the entire time we had been here and we quickly found out all we needed was some help from the kids at our care point.

Don’t worry we didn’t just catch one, we made sure to catch two!

This right here is just proof of a good day at ministry.

Thank you all so much for your support I will have so much more to share as I am being stretched and strengthened. Stay tuned for more folks!

Lamentations 3:22
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassion’s never fail. They are new every morning, Great is thy faithfulness.
