I’ve tried to put the “fun” in fundraising, but let’s be honest, I’m at a loss. I hear story after story of how God swoops in at the last second (sometimes the very last hour) and brings in the money someone needs plus a little more because of how generous he is. I hear that and a part of me says, “Oh, well, that was for them. He wouldn’t do that for me. I have to bring in the money on my own.” To which I will either reply (to myself) with, “Shut up, Caleb.” or “You’re right.”

How dangerous this lie is. The enemy is a remarkable liar. I guess that’s why he’s called “the prince of lies”. He swoops in and tries to destroy all hope, all joy, that I may have. Honestly, it sucks.

I wrote a unpublished blog post entitled The Battle Before The Battle which basically talked about how God is preparing my squad, preparing me, for this trip and calling us into intimate dependent trust in him. So, that is what I’ve decided to do. We all have a choice of whether we will trust in God to provide or to take matters into our own hands. Abraham, who was accredited holiness because of his faith, stumbled and fell because he tried to take matters into his own hands and not trust in God’s timing.

Financial goals I have to meet.

I need $5,000 by September 25, 2018 to be able to go to training camp where I will learn and live just as I will while overseas for 10 days in October!!

The next goal is $10,000 by December 21, 2018 which will allow me to launch with the rest of my squad!!

Then, I will need $13,000 by February 28, 2019 to continue my stay overseas

Finally, I will need to be fully funded by April 30, 2019 which will allow me to finish out my time with World Race!

WAYS TO HELP!

I will have Adopt A Box open and running until it is completely fill which will come to about $5,000!!! That will put me close to my 2nd goal! It works by choosing a box number between 1 and 100. Whatever number you decide (or “adopt”) you donate that amount to my blog! So, box #45 will be $45 you donate to my blog!

I am a official partner with a coffee company called MissionBrew! They help support raising missionaries by donating 25-35% of profits from purchases made in that missionaries name! None of the money goes to me. They take my “cut” and will donate it directly to my Adventures In Missions fund.

Thank you, all who have helped support me through this both prayerfully and financially. I love you all and I cannot wait to see how God will move because of your generous donation.
